JVKellyGroup Named in Inc. 5000 List
Cited Among The Nation's Fastest-growing Private Companies

JVKellyGroup, Inc. today announced it has been included in the Inc. 5000 list, an influential list of the nation's fastest growing private companies. The list was released on August 20, 2008 by Inc. Magazine.

“The Inc. 5000 gives an unrivalled portrait of young, underreported companies across all industries doing fascinating things with cutting-edge business models, as well as older companies that are still showing impressive growth,” said Inc. 5000 Project Manager Jim Melloan.

The 2008 Inc. 5000 list measures revenue growth from 2004 through 2007, in which JVKellyGroup, Inc. reported an 81.7% growth.  “The past three years have proven to be both exciting and a blessing,” says Jim Kelly, CEO and Managing Principal of JVKellyGroup, Inc. “We have had continuing, profitable growth with no debt and have more than doubled our client base.”  Mr. Kelly attributes the firm’s success to the employees, “They are working harder every year to produce quality results for our clients and have continuously surpassed themselves with innovation.”

JVKellyGroup, Inc. has been providing leading edge sourcing and procurement solutions and strategies to its Fortune 1,000 client base for the past six years.  However, with a downward economy, their services are all the more important to clients says Jim Kelly, “In a time of economic downturn, corporations are finding it more important than ever to reduce operating costs through strategic sourcing practices.  Our innovative strategies and leading best practices are proven to significantly reduce cycle time and get savings in the door faster.”

The 5,000 companies that made the list reported aggregate revenue of $185 billion and median three-year growth of 147 percent.  Most important, the 2008 Inc. 5000 companies were engines of job growth, having created more than 826,033 jobs since those companies were founded. Complete results of the Inc. 5000, including company profiles and a list of the fastest-growing companies that can be sorted by industry and region can be found at www.inc5000.com

Jim Kelly, CEO of JVKellyGroup, Inc., Provides Optimistic Outlook on Future of Economy
Jim Kelly today was quoted in Newsday, America's 6th largest regional newspaper, on the state of the economy and reports of growing inflation:

“Jim Kelly, chairman of the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce and chief executive of a management consulting firm, said he was not surprised by the government's report that showed that in July consumer prices had risen 0.8 percent compared to the previous month, and the 12-month inflation rate jumped to 5.6 percent. He blamed much of the increase on oil's record run, peaking at $147 a barrel on July 11.

'
When you look how oil goes through our culture, it was only a matter of time before it hit our consumer prices,’ he said.

If
the price of oil continues falling, Kelly said the national inflation rate should lessen by October or November. “  (excerpt from Newsday 8/15/08, LI economists, business leaders see inflation slowing by Danny Teigman and James Bernstein)

Mr. Kelly has been outspoken on the state of the economy throughout this year.  In January, Mr. Kelly spoke at ProcureCon Indirect, an industry conference held in Atlanta, GA, about the effects of a slowing economy on the procurement industry.  Additionally, he was a panelist at the Long Island Economic Summit held in April, where he provided his insight how the local economy in Huntington can stay alive and thrive in a time of economic downturn.

JVKellyGroup, Inc. Executives Named 2008 Pros To Know by Supply and Demand Chain Executive Magazine
JVKellyGroup, Inc. Chief Executive Officer, Jim Kelly, C.P.M., and Chief Solutions Officer, Ryder Daniels, have been named "Pros to Know" by Supply and Demand Chain Executive Magazine.

This is the second consecutive year on the list for Jim Kelly, who was recognized for his supply chain thought leadership.  Jim has spoken at numerous events over the past year to drive home the importance of his message that “visibility is the great antiseptic,” meaning that if your employees know their spending is being monitored, they will be less likely to buy out of policy, leading to greater compliance and savings.

Through his leadership of JVKellyGroup, Jim has guided the company’s Fortune 500 clients to streamlined processes, superior visibility into supplier spend and performance and savings that positively impact the bottom-line - numbers a CFO understands.

Ryder Daniels was recognized for his work in transforming the way companies can leverage complex data to make timely decisions in areas such as Supplier Performance Management, Risk, Spend Analysis, Business Process Management, and Marketing Intelligence.

Since 2002, Ryder has focused Web 2.0 innovations to deliver sustained change in several industries. Traditional dashboards focus on depicting what has already occurred and allow you to manage to a static set of metrics.  By understanding that what matters today may not matter tomorrow, Ryder, along with his team of business intelligence experts, designed a flexible dashboard solution in which clients can readily change which metrics they are monitoring, while maintaining their original metrics in the background.

“We’re ecstatic to receive this recognition,” says Kelly, “but the recognition should not stop with Ryder and me.  Our people are a key differentiator of the firm and without their commitment, hard work, and support we wouldn’t be on this prestigious list.”

The Supply & Demand Chain Executive Provider Pros to Know is a listing of individuals from a software firm, service provider, consultancy, or analyst or research firm who have a vision for the 21st century supply chain and have personally helped clients apply technology or processes to modernize their supply chains.

"This year's Provider Pros to Know have shown themselves to be thought-leaders in their respective supply chain segments," said Andrew K. Reese, editor of Supply & Demand Chain Executive. "Their efforts in developing the tools and processes necessary for supply chain transformation, and in promoting new approaches to supply chain enablement, are helping raise Supply Chain's status within the enterprise and have earned them a place on this year's Provider Pros listing."
